I enjoy Typography and Letterpress printing. I have printed
posters for artists shows, and for my own entertainment.

COLLABORATIVE DRAWINGS
The work shown was done by me and my wife. The pieces were started by printing a letterpress wood block alphabet letter on paper. The drawings we finished with watercolor and pen and ink. Most of the drawings are under 8”.

BAMBOO
Bamboo was a broadside that I published in 1993-94. The price per copy was “Tre volte il prezzo di an biscotto” or three time the price of a cookie, $5.50. There were 26 biweekly issues that were available by subscription or at kiosks inside businesses, book stores, museums and bars. Styled after W.W.I./1920’s publications Die Action and Der Sturm, Bamboo featured original woodcuts and lithographs done exclusively for the publication by Seattle artists, and poetry by Seattle poets. In all, 70 artists were featured. Complete sets sell for $500.00 upon request.
